• Due to our insurance
we will only paint children who are 3 years or over.
Children’s skin under the age of 3 is sensitive and the
immune system is still in development. There is a risk of
prompting a future sensitivity or allergy.
• We WILL NOT paint
unaccompanied children under the age of 16.
• Please make sure that
children’s faces are CLEAN and dry.
• Please wipe noses and
mouths before being seated for painting.
• If you have any
concerns regarding your child’s reaction to face paints,
please discuss with the artist before your child is
painted. We are happy to provide a patch test if you are
unsure.
• We WILL NOT paint
anyone who, in the opinion of the artist, appears to be
suffering from:- Cold Sores; Conjunctivitis; Any Infectious
Skin Complaint; Eczema, open cuts, sores or wounds or
anyone who appears to look unwell.
• We WILL NOT paint
anyone against their wishes (this includes sleeping
children), paint signs, symbols or designs that are in any
way offensive or illegal nor will we paint anyone who is
abusive, violent or intoxicated.
• We only use good
quality professional paints that are EC and/or FDA
compliant and glitters that are safe for cosmetic use. Our
paints are water based and they have anti-bacterial
properties and are designed for the use on faces.
• Removing the paint at
home can by done with clean water and a clean face flannel.
Some brands may leave a tinge on the skin, please don’t
worry this should fade within a day or so. Please do not
use baby wipes as this is more likely to leave a tinge on
the skin.
• Clothing that has
come in contact with the face paint should be COLD soaked
overnight in washing powder before washing normally. We
will not be held liable if the paint can not be removed.
• We ask that our
products are not touched by members of the public, to
ensure that health and hygiene standards are kept. Could
parents kept small children away from the work area.
• For safety reasons we
ask that children do not play in the work area; we will not
be liable for any damage or injuries if this should occur.
• We are face painters
not child minders. Parents MUST supervise their children at
all times.
• Once the line has
closed, no more people will be painted – NO EXCEPTIONS
